With the destruction of the Enterprise-D in Star Trek: Generations (1994), Captain Jean-Luc Picard took the helm on the iconic starship’s successor – the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E! Designed by John Eaves, the starship made its debut in Star Trek: First Contact (1996), and continued its big-screen run in both Star Trek: Insurrection (1998) and Star Trek: Nemesis (2002).
A state-of-the-art Sovereign-class vessel, the Enterprise-E served as the flagship of the United Federation of Planets from 2372 until 2408, fending off threats such as the Borg, the Son’a, and the new Romulan Praetor – Picard’s own clone, Shinzon!
